Learning through health and wellbeing enables children to make informed decisions in order to improve their mental, emotional, social and physical wellbeing, experience challenge and enjoyment and experience positive aspects of healthy living.
Yoga Day- Yoga helps strengthen children’s growing bodies and helps them improve their flexibility. Yoga teaches discipline and reduces impulsivity. It can reduce challenging behaviors in the classroom by providing a physical outlet for children to express themselves.
Sports Day- Sports experiences help building positive self- esteem in children. Participating in sports can be a helpful way of reducing stress and increasing feelings of physical and mental well-being.
International Happiness Day- Spend some time on International Happiness Day reflecting on what brings us joy, how we can help others feel happy and what we can do to bring happiness into our daily lives.
